Beach of Saint Paraskeui (Cyan Coast)

One of the most organized beaches in the area, with numerous beach bars and water sports facilities, as well as parking areas, changing rooms, umbrellas, sunbeds, rubbish bins and qualified lifeguards. It is located about 14 kilometres west of Alexandroupolis and extends over more than a thousand metres of wide, sandy beach. It is easily accessible by private means and public transport and is considered the most "cosmopolitan" coast of Alexandroupolis, attracting crowds of people during the summer months.

The beach takes its name from the chapel of Agia Paraskevi, while many visitors know it as the "Cyan Coast". Apart from the successive organised stretches, it has several open spaces for those who wish to enjoy swimming with their own equipment. The waters are shallow for several meters, which makes it ideal for families with children. The quality of the waters, as certified by the regular controls of the competent body, is excellent and the combination of the landscape, the purity of the sea and the organization is what makes Agia Paraskevi a top destination for summer getaways.
